Tibetan/Nepalese Thangka Art Exhibition 2012

International art collector Sushil Mulepati, owner of Himalayan Treasures, brings some of his finest pieces to Still & Moving Center through June 2012.
Thangkas are Buddhist art work painted by Tibetan and Nepalese monks. These traditional, free hand paintings achieve rich, bright hues with pigmentation from natural mineral stones. To Buddhists these sacred paintings offer a beautiful manifestation of the divine, used as a meditation tool to help bring one further down the path to enlightenment.
