Women at Still & Moving
Women’s Classes & Training, in Hawaii & Online
As you walk into Still & Moving Center, you are graciously greeted by an incredibly beautiful, almost life-sized, statue of Kwan Yin, the goddess of mercy and compassion.
Still & Moving Center is a woman-owned cultural center that was founded by, and continues to be directed by, a woman: Renée Tillotson, and it carries a certain flavor and stamp accordingly. We honor women of all ages, races, ethnicities, and gender inclinations. We see all human beings as comprised of varying degrees of yin and yang, or feminine and masculine energies. Life as a woman presents its unique opportunities and challenges. We reinforce one another at our woman-owned cultural center in Hawaii in a powerfully positive setting that asks us all to “Claim your magnificence!”
Experience the support of a global, mindful community of amazing women, as well as a smaller number of equally remarkable, supportive men at our cultural center in Hawaii. Through movement practices such as yoga, hula, Feldenkrais, Bollywood, belly dance, Nia, aerial, barre, and many more, you can discover a sisterhood of enthusiastic movers at our online and in-person classes in Hawaii. Women laugh, experience joy, and move into greater wellness through these classes.
No matter your age or fitness level, you are welcome to participate at Still & Moving Center — even our martial arts classes include women of all ages, as do all of our other movement disciplines. Support your healthy, mindful life through all of its stages and changes, with our yoga, wellness, and meditation classes in Hawaii.
The Still & Moving Center Almanac features quotations by women and notes women’s historic accomplishments throughout recorded time.
Director Renée Tillotson and Kumu Mālia Helelā make regular, featured appearances on the international Women Unleashed Retreats with Amber Bonnici.
