She has danced on Broadway\, with the Joyce Theatre\, and in Hollywood films.   \nNow\, Diandra dedicates her life to studying cultural dances ranging from West African and Bhangra\, to Brazilian Samba\, Chicago House and Argentine Zapateado. She spent ten years dancing in West Africa and the Caribbean\, where she trained with Sankofa Center for African Dance and Culture\, choreographed for Carnival troupes and Soca artists\, produced “Long Legs Arts Fest\,” and presented her publication “The Cultural Dancer: An Awary Ambassador” at the International Dance Conference in Barbados.  \nDiandra also shares her passion for mindful movement as a certified Pilates and 500 hour trained Yoga teacher\, and as a climate change educator—having survived the eye of historic Hurricane Irma in 2017\, on which she published a memoir “Irma Was Here.” \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Hollow Moon\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				A versatile and dynamic musician\, Hollow Moon moves forward with an extensive background in global music traditions\, including West African\, Polynesian\, and Balinese genres. With a seamless blend of tradition and innovation\, Hollow’s work radiates rhythm\, spirit\, and joy\, captivating audiences wherever she goes. \nHer journey began with ecstatic dance events\, leading to performances in Afro-fitness classes\, spiritual retreats\, ceremonies\, and sound baths. Hollow’s talents have graced a wide range of events\, from weddings and graduations to corporate gatherings with clients like Microsoft\, The Hub Coworking\, and Bishop’s Museum\, creating vibrant and memorable experiences for all. \nAs a student of the Samoan Fireknife School in Oahu under Mangu Mu\, and a musician with Kalena’s Polynesian Ohana  Production Group\, Hollow brings a unique blend of musicality and performance artistry to every stage. She is also a skilled martial artist\, studying disciplines such as Filipino Martial Arts\, Silat\, Capoeira\, and boxing\, adding a powerful dimension to her creative repertoire. \nWith a background in filmmaking\, scriptwriting\, and editing developed during her time at the Art Institute of Atlanta\, Hollow incorporates narrative depth into her artistry. Discover the ease of dancing on what is reputedly the best dance floor on O’ahu: the sprung mango wood floor at Still & Moving Center… \nWe include and encourage dancers of all ages\, backgrounds\, and skill levels to join us. \nPlease wear indoor dance shoes or socks. That’s the feeling you’ll get watching and learning with Josefina Stellato! The closeness\, the confidence\, the breath-taking swoops and tantalizing pauses… \nJosefina Stellato has been dancing Argentine tango at the highest level for more than two decades. She’s now arrived at Still & Moving Center as our Artist in Residence for about 6 months! \nAs a performer\, Josefina has been a member of renowned choreographer Leonardo Cuello’s tango company at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires\, Argentina. She’s been a cast member of Social Tango Project for the past decade\, performing in multiple theaters in Buenos Aires! In 2023\, Josefina participated in the company’s North American tour and performed at Kennedy Center in New York City. \nAs a teacher\, Josefina deepened her understanding of pedagogy under the direction of Dana Frigoli and the DNI Tango school in Buenos Aires\, where Josefina served as a senior faculty member. She was also an official member of the DNI Tango Company\, where she participated in the live shows “Dos\, lo que se disuelve”\, “Asimétrico”\, “Seres Materiales”; a film version of “Dos”\, and “Remueve la piel suspire”\, which Josefina created and choreographed. \nJosefina has taught and performed at international festivals in Europe and during the pandemic gained a devoted following for her online lessons.
