She is always looking for ways to deliver a more personal experience\, with respectful irreverence and fun. She links functional movement skills\, breath mechanics\, and novel approaches to traditional poses to increase somatic awareness\, mobility\, and build an organic mind/body connection. \nAs a long time practitioner\, Robin has personally experienced the difference that a regular yoga practice can make in a person’s life. SUMMARY:Palena Workshop: A Hawaiian Perspective on Mapping Your Life Path with Kumu Mālia Helelā. In-person & Live Online
DESCRIPTION:  \nLast Sunday of the month5:00 – 7:00 pm HST \nApril 26\, 2026May 31\, 2026June 28\, 2026July 26\, 2026August 30\, 2026September 27\, 2026October 25\, 2026 (no Palena in celebration of Diwali)November 29\, 2026 \nPrice: $4920% off unlimited membersFree for Hulali\, Malama & Annual Members \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Let’s gather together to visualize your life path from a Hawaiian perspective. In this workshop\, we explore the Palena\, the boundaries or protected spaces\, of your unique life map. \nWhat is Palena? \nBased on Hawaiian values\, Kumu Mālia visualizes the concept of Palena as a heart-shaped island map representing our life. Somewhat akin to various ‘life wheels’ used in self-help and life-coaching practices\, this island contains eight districts\, symbolically representing eight aspects of our life. This Palena framework for looking at any given topic or  situation provides the onlooker with a view that is both more expansive and more in-depth.  \nKumu Mālia’s deep immersion in Hawaiian language\, culture and history\, as well as her experience in hula\, lomilomi and as a mother of four\, have together inspired and informed her symbolic Palena outlook. See how the Palena perspective brings clarity to the way you understand life. \nWhat to expect: \nCome prepared for thoughtful introspection\, journaling\, and optional discussion. All writing material will be provided. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Palena Workshop Schedule\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Mālia Heleā ACAD 1\n \n \n \n \n \n Academy of Mindful Movement Level 1 Training \nKumu Mālia Ko’i’ulaokawaolehua Helelā strives to live a life of grace. SUMMARY:Do-in: Mindful Self Massage: A 2-Part Committed Workshop with Dr. Greg Yuen. In-person
DESCRIPTION:In-person \nPart 1 – April 18\, 2026Part 2 – April 25\, 2026 \nSaturday\, 1:00 – 2:30 pm HST \nPrice: $4920% Discount Unlimited MembersFree for Hulali\, Malama & Annual Members \n \n \n Sign Up for Part 1\n \n Sign Up for Part 2\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Put Your Health Into Your Own Hands. If you want more energy\, less pain\, better sleep\, and less stress\, this workshop is for you. \nWhat You Will LearnIn this 3-hour experiential workshop\, you will learn a complete whole-body Do-in sequence you can practice for the rest of your life. \nYou will: \n\n Stimulate your body’s natural self-healing ability\n Reduce symptoms of chronic pain\, fatigue\, and stress\n Experience the flow of qi (chi) — the vital life force of Chinese medicine\n Learn 21 essential acupuncture points for daily self-care\n Discover the “golden spots” in your body that need extra attention\n Deepen the benefits of yoga\, tai chi\, and qigong\n Practice focused somatic meditation for greater calm and clarity\n Learn how to apply the principle of the “Whole” to support lasting health\n\nTraditional Chinese Medicine says that most diseases are caused by an imbalance or blockage in qi. Do-In provides the ideal vehicle to restore balance and promote self-healing. In the Tai chi Classics\, they say\, “where your mind goes\, the qi goes”. In Traditional Chinese Medicine\, they say\, “where the qi goes\, the blood goes”. With Do-In practice\, you will discover how to create healthy qi and blood circulation through mindful Self-massage. \nDo-In originated from the Chinese “daoyin” whose manuscripts date back to 200 BC. “Do” and “in” both mean “to lead or guide”. In this case\, it refers to how this technique guides or leads the qi in the body. It is a simple technique that can have profound effects on your level of health when practiced regularly. \nDr. Yuen learned Do-in from the discipline of macrobiotics which was spread by its primary proponent\, Michio Kushi. Dr. Yuen has modified the traditional Do-in with the employment of a massage tool called the “backnobber”; this helps better align Do-in with the principle of the Whole and the pursuit of “self-health”. Backnobbers will be provided at this workshop for your use. \nThis is a committed workshop. Although it is advertised as two separate sessions\, participants are required to attend and pay for both Part 1 and Part 2. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Dr Greg Yuen\n \n \n \n \n \n Dr. Yuen combines an easy\, interactive teaching style with a no-nonsense\, straightforward approach to get you to know and love your body more than you ever have before. \nAfter his grandmother died when he was twelve years old\, Dr. Greg Yuen dedicated his life to the pursuit of health and longevity. He has now distilled his knowledge and experience of both Western and Eastern medicine\, committing to the promotion of Do-in: Mindful Self-Massage. Now\, after a brief pause to focus on raising her two children (ages 3 and 5)\, she is thrilled to return to the dance community and share her passion once again through classes. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Get the Still & Moving App\n \n APPLE APP STORE\n \n GOOGLE PLAY STORE

SUMMARY:Sound Healing/Restorative Yoga Benefit for Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii with Bryan Jordan & Robin Shepard
DESCRIPTION:SUSTAINABLE COASTLINES HAWAI‘I started in 2010 with 8 friends sitting around a table in a small house in Kaimuki. Inspired by our good friends Sustainable Coastlines in New Zealand\, we decided to take keeping our beaches clean into our own hands while making the work fun. What we’ve learned along the way is that cleanups can only do so much. We now utilize our cleanups to inspire better consumer behaviors and continued coastal stewardship through cleanups\, education\, social media\, and more. Sustainable Coastlines is a grassroots\, local nonprofit organization run by a small team of dedicated staff and supported by passionate volunteers\, just like you! \nSustainable Coastlines offers:  \n\nBeach Cleanups\nInteractive Educational opportunities for all ages. All programs are free for schools and student groups!\nSustainevents: Make your next event more sustainable\, and become a part of the zero waste movement.\nMarine Debris Rapid Response: Report ghost nets\, and large marine debris accumulation for quick removal. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n  \nSunday\, February 1\, 2026 \n5:30 – 7:00 PM \nSliding Scale Donation \n100% of the ticket sales will be donated to Sustainable Coastlines Hawai’i \n \n Sign Up Now\n \n \n \n \n \n Welcome to our monthly Benefit Sound Bath Series! It is designed to fill you with serenity\, and healing that you can spread throughout your community\, while at the same time spreading awareness and helping nonprofit organizations throughout Hawai’i continue their amazing work. In honor of Earth Day\, we are supporting Sustainable Coastlines Hawai’i. \n100% of the ticket sales will be donated to the Sustainable Coastlines Hawai’i. \n \nABOUT THIS EVENT \nThis Gentle Yoga/Sound Healing event is designed to help bring a little peace\, and comfort into your life.  \nRobin will guide the first half of the session with a gentle yoga routine set to the crystal singing bowls to encourage relaxation and prepare you for a deeper meditation. Robin’s sense of curiosity has led her to create a unique style of yoga that is dynamic and personal\, allowing each student to explore sensation\, and find space and range on their own terms. She invites your own curiosity as you sink into progressive relaxation and meditation through the use of natural breath mechanics\, techniques to ease tension in the body and quiet the mind\, and through unexpected approaches to traditional poses to allow you to tune in to your individual experience.  \nDuring the second half of the class Bryan will immerse you in a musical sound journey with the crystal singing bowls. Bryan’s unique approach to sound healing incorporates his training in classical music to create a beautiful\, flowing soundscape. Every session becomes a brand new composition\, designed to help you reach deeper\, and deeper states of relaxation\, and meditation. This music will guide you on a journey where deep healing\, and rest occurs. You will leave the class feeling rejuvenated\, restored\, and peaceful.   \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n We have developed a tiered payment system for this event. For those of you who can afford to pay on the higher end of the scale\, your payment helps to support those who cannot. This is one way to leverage our privilege and stand for equity for everyone. This curiosity has fueled exploration and experimentation to create a style of movement that is playful and dynamic\, with practical benefit for everyone from absolute beginners to more advanced practitioners. She teaches both on the mat and in the “air”! \nHer training and experience run deep. She took her  foundational yoga teacher trainings with Suzanne Vian of Yoga Vietnam and her 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training in the FluidUs Method with Carlos Tao. She has taught over _______ hours of yoga over the years. She has assisted with Yoga Teacher Trainings. Additionally\, Robin is an experienced\, registered Children’s Yoga Teacher and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider\, with training in Pre-Natal and Post-Natal yoga. Captivated by the modality of aerial yoga\, Robin has completed her aerial teacher trainings with Carmen Curtis\, founder of AIReal Yoga\, in these formats: in AIReal Yoga\, AIReal Restore\, and Aerial Hammock Dance. \nRobin constantly looks for ways to deliver a more personal experience\, with respectful irreverence and fun. Whether on the yoga mat or in the aerial hammock\, she links functional movement skills\, breath mechanics\, and novel approaches to traditional poses to increase somatic awareness\, mobility\, and build an organic mind/body connection. \nAs a long time practitioner\, Robin has personally experienced the difference that regularly practicing yoga can make in a person’s life. She sees yoga as a doorway\, progressing from movement into meditation\, awareness\, understanding\, and finally acceptance of ourselves and others. She considers yoga a powerful and essential practice to help navigate our modern world. \nOriginally a native of the Pacific Northwest\, often visiting our islands\, Robin spent 13 years traveling\, raising her family\, and acquiring knowledge and skills in Guangzhou and Shanghai\, China\, as well as  Ho Chi Minh City\, Viet Nam. Robin is delighted to call Honolulu home since 2020 \nCome join her on the mat or in the “air”!!  \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Get the Still & Moving App\n \n APPLE APP STORE\n \n GOOGLE PLAY STORE

SUMMARY:Vision Board Workshop: Design Your Year Ahead with Regina Lumsden. In-person & Live online
DESCRIPTION:In-person & Live online \nSaturday\, January 17\, 202611:00 am – 1:00 pm HST \n$39 for non-membersFree for Hulali\, Malama & Annual Members \n \n Sign up for in-person\n \n Sign up for online\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Step into the new year with intention and creativity. In this hands-on workshop inspired by the almanac’s theme “Evolving with the Cosmos\,” you’ll design a vision board that reflects what you want to create for yourself and the collective — from personal growth and relationships to health\, prosperity\, career\, and spiritual well-being. \nBring your ideas to life as you focus your energy on what truly matters to you. You’ll use images\, words\, and symbols to craft a visual roadmap for the year ahead\, turning your intentions into inspiration. \nWhat to bring: A few old magazines to cut from and any personal items that inspire you. \nLeave the workshop feeling energized\, clear\, and ready to step into a year of purpose\, growth\, and possibility. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Regina Lumsden\nRegina is inspired by her clients’ journeys as they move beyond physical and emotional pain. She finds great joy in witnessing their transformation—becoming more empowered\, centered\, grounded\, and at peace—through their work together. \nA licensed massage therapist\, Regina graduated from the Hawaii College of Health Science in Honolulu after relocating from the UK in 1997. She initially practiced massage part-time before transitioning to a full-time role as a Waldorf teacher\, specializing in movement-based education. \nIn 2005\, Regina became a client of Noa Batlin\, a healing arts practitioner who works with the understanding that the body stores physical and emotional memories. When these memories go unprocessed\, they can create pain and prevent us from fully inhabiting our lives—body\, soul\, and spirit. Because these memories are often held in the fascia\, modalities such as deep tissue and myofascial release can support the process of letting go and moving toward greater freedom. \nRegina shares\, “In 2007\, I was in a car/bicycle accident that changed my life. Receiving deep tissue and myofascial release work daily helped me fully recover from what could have been permanent physical damage. That experience gave me a profound insight: our mindset shapes our lives\, and bodywork can be transformational on physical\, emotional\, and spiritual levels. It’s about committing to ourselves as we move through life.” \nAfter making a full recovery\, Regina gradually transitioned out of teaching to devote herself fully to healing bodywork therapy—a decision her many grateful clients wholeheartedly appreciate. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Get the Still & Moving App\n \n APPLE APP STORE\n \n GOOGLE PLAY STORE
