Though she will never stop wandering\, she now considers Honolulu home. She feels lucky to have been a part of the vibrant yoga culture of Vietnam where she completed her foundational yoga teacher trainings with Suzanne Vian of Yoga Vietnam and her 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training in the FluidUs Method with Carlos Tao. Additionally\, Robin is a registered Children’s Yoga Teacher\, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider\, and has training in Pre-Natal and Post-Natal yoga. \nAccordingly\, Robin enjoys teaching both the young and the young-at-heart. As a life-long learner\, she is fascinated by recent scientific discoveries around fascia and functional movement and their implications for the practice of yoga. This curiosity has fueled exploration and experimentation to create a style of movement that is playful and dynamic\, with practical benefit for everyone from absolute beginners to more advanced practitioners. She is always looking for ways to deliver a more personal experience\, with respectful irreverence and fun. SUMMARY:Do-in: Mindful Self Massage: A 2-Part Committed Workshop with Dr. Greg Yuen. In-person
DESCRIPTION:In-person \nPart 1 – April 18\, 2026Part 2 – April 25\, 2026 \nSaturday\, 1:00 – 2:30 pm HST \nPrice: $4920% Discount Unlimited MembersFree for Hulali\, Malama & Annual Members \n \n \n Sign Up for Part 1\n \n Sign Up for Part 2\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Put Your Health Into Your Own Hands. If you want more energy\, less pain\, better sleep\, and less stress\, this workshop is for you. \nWhat You Will LearnIn this 3-hour experiential workshop\, you will learn a complete whole-body Do-in sequence you can practice for the rest of your life. \nYou will: \n\n Stimulate your body’s natural self-healing ability\n Reduce symptoms of chronic pain\, fatigue\, and stress\n Experience the flow of qi (chi) — the vital life force of Chinese medicine\n Learn 21 essential acupuncture points for daily self-care\n Discover the “golden spots” in your body that need extra attention\n Deepen the benefits of yoga\, tai chi\, and qigong\n Practice focused somatic meditation for greater calm and clarity\n Learn how to apply the principle of the “Whole” to support lasting health\n\nTraditional Chinese Medicine says that most diseases are caused by an imbalance or blockage in qi. Do-In provides the ideal vehicle to restore balance and promote self-healing. In the Tai chi Classics\, they say\, “where your mind goes\, the qi goes”. In Traditional Chinese Medicine\, they say\, “where the qi goes\, the blood goes”. With Do-In practice\, you will discover how to create healthy qi and blood circulation through mindful Self-massage. \nDo-In originated from the Chinese “daoyin” whose manuscripts date back to 200 BC. “Do” and “in” both mean “to lead or guide”. In this case\, it refers to how this technique guides or leads the qi in the body. It is a simple technique that can have profound effects on your level of health when practiced regularly. \nDr. Yuen learned Do-in from the discipline of macrobiotics which was spread by its primary proponent\, Michio Kushi. Dr. Yuen has modified the traditional Do-in with the employment of a massage tool called the “backnobber”; this helps better align Do-in with the principle of the Whole and the pursuit of “self-health”. Backnobbers will be provided at this workshop for your use. \nThis is a committed workshop. Although it is advertised as two separate sessions\, participants are required to attend and pay for both Part 1 and Part 2. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Dr Greg Yuen\n \n \n \n \n \n Dr. Yuen combines an easy\, interactive teaching style with a no-nonsense\, straightforward approach to get you to know and love your body more than you ever have before. \nAfter his grandmother died when he was twelve years old\, Dr. Greg Yuen dedicated his life to the pursuit of health and longevity. This has led to his over forty years as a psychiatrist\, tai chi instructor\, and massage therapist. He has now distilled his knowledge and experience of both Western and Eastern medicine\, committing to the promotion of Do-in: Mindful Self-Massage. Do-in forwards his pursuit of “self-health” approaches that rely less on any medical doctors and pave the way to longevity. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Get the Still & Moving App\n \n APPLE APP STORE\n \n GOOGLE PLAY STORE

Her classes inspire students to think about dance and life in new\, exciting ways. \nElizabeth grew up in Hawaiʻi and is happy to be home\, dancing in the place she loves\, after more than twenty years of experience performing\, teaching\, choreographing and promoting dance. She has toured France\, Brazil\, Mexico\, and the U.S. with Tennessee Dance Theatre\, Chicago Moving Company\, Lucky Plush Productions\, and Breakbone DanceCo.\, and performed works by Bill T. Jones\, Doug Elkins\, Twyla Tharp\, and Charles Weidman. \nPrior to returning to Hawaiʻi in 2018\, Elizabeth co-founded two dance companies and two regional dance festivals on the continent\, one to promote modern dance in Chicago and one for 7-12th grade dancers and their dance educators in Mississippi. She served as an Associate Professor of Dance at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM)\, where she taught ballet\, modern\, dance education\, anatomy\, choreography\, and dance theory classes. While at USM\, Elizabeth worked to bridge the Dance and Theatre Departments\, including co-creating a full-length devised theatre work with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and serving as Interim Chair for both departments. She holds a BA in Religion with a concentration in Women’s Studies from Carleton College\, and an MFA in Dance from the University of Washington. \n“Ms. Lentz-Hill has effervescence\, an inner glow\, and an absolute belief in what she is presenting in the studio. There is an indefinable type of energy that leaps from her to her students. These qualities projected not only from Ms. Lentz-Hill but also from the students in the residency as they worked with her. The dancers left her sessions with knowledge of a dynamic energy\, knowing they had something of value to contribute to the community around them so much greater than an ability to be a technically sound dancer. To paraphrase a student in the residency – working with Ms. Lentz-Hill was not just a lesson in technique\, it was a lesson in life! “ – Mid-Pacific Institute \n \n Sign Up Now!

She finds great joy in witnessing their transformation—becoming more empowered\, centered\, grounded\, and at peace—through their work together. \nA licensed massage therapist\, Regina graduated from the Hawaii College of Health Science in Honolulu after relocating from the UK in 1997. She initially practiced massage part-time before transitioning to a full-time role as a Waldorf teacher\, specializing in movement-based education. \nIn 2005\, Regina became a client of Noa Batlin\, a healing arts practitioner who works with the understanding that the body stores physical and emotional memories. When these memories go unprocessed\, they can create pain and prevent us from fully inhabiting our lives—body\, soul\, and spirit. Because these memories are often held in the fascia\, modalities such as deep tissue and myofascial release can support the process of letting go and moving toward greater freedom. \nRegina shares\, “In 2007\, I was in a car/bicycle accident that changed my life. Receiving deep tissue and myofascial release work daily helped me fully recover from what could have been permanent physical damage. That experience gave me a profound insight: our mindset shapes our lives\, and bodywork can be transformational on physical\, emotional\, and spiritual levels. It’s about committing to ourselves as we move through life.” \nAfter making a full recovery\, Regina gradually transitioned out of teaching to devote herself fully to healing bodywork therapy—a decision her many grateful clients wholeheartedly appreciate.

Appropriate for all levels (including absolute beginners)\, her class provides you with functional movement\, natural breath mechanics\, and balance through grounding – all with practical applications for your daily life. \nRobin’s preferred yoga technique – called FluidUs – arises from a deep understanding of the body’s myofascial lines and the ways our bodies work as a coordinated and interconnected system rather than a series of separate mechanical parts. \nExpect novel approaches to traditional postures and props\, sincerity\, a sense of humor\, and fun! \nAs you move\, you discover and celebrate your body’s innate intelligence . You find out how good it feels to move in a full-body\, integrated way. Robin teaches yoga with a light\, listen-to-your-body approach to achieve genuine body satisfaction and results. You’ll notice how these beneficial movement patterns help you unravel some of the habits and dysfunctional postures of our modern lifestyles. \nThe yoga class will take place at 1515 Liona street Honolulu HI 96814 on the grassy area in front of Midtown Eats. Please bring a towel and water bottle. Guests should also bring their own yoga mat\, as mats are not included. \nThis class is is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and sponsored by The Park on Ke’eaumoku and Midtown Eats. \nTo complete your booking for this FREE class: On the checkout and booking page please SELECT YOUR HOME LOCATION as “Still & Moving Center”. \n  \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Robin Shepard ACAD 1\n \n \n \n \n \n Academy of Mindful Movement certified\, Level 1 \nRobin enjoys teaching both the young and the young-at-heart. \nRobin constantly looks for ways to deliver a more personal experience\, with respectful irreverence and fun. Whether on the yoga mat or in the aerial hammock\, she links functional movement skills\, breath mechanics\, and novel approaches to traditional poses to increase somatic awareness\, mobility\, and build an organic mind/body connection. \nAs a long time practitioner\, Robin has personally experienced the difference that regularly practicing yoga can make in a person’s life. She sees yoga as a doorway\, progressing from movement into meditation\, awareness\, understanding\, and finally acceptance of ourselves and others. She considers yoga a powerful and essential practice to help navigate our modern world. \nOriginally a native of the Pacific Northwest\, often visiting our islands\, Robin spent 13 years traveling\, raising her family\, and acquiring knowledge and skills in Guangzhou and Shanghai\, China\, as well as Ho Chi Minh City\, Viet Nam. Having purchased a home here in 2014\, Robin is delighted to call Honolulu home. \nShe completed her foundational yoga teacher trainings with Suzanne Vian of Yoga Vietnam and her 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training in the FluidUs Method with Carlos Tao. She has taught yoga for years\, assisting with Yoga Teacher Trainings. Additionally\, Robin is an experienced\, registered Children’s Yoga Teacher and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider\, with training in Pre-Natal and Post-Natal yoga. \nSince arriving in Honolulu in 2020\, Robin has been captivated by the modality of aerial yoga and has completed her teacher training with Carmen Curtis\, founder of AIReal Yoga\, in AIReal Yoga\, AIReal Restore\, and Aerial Hammock Dance. \nAcademy of Mindful Movement certified\, Level 1 \nE-RTY500\, RCYT\, YACEP \nYoga Alliance Registry # 212567
