Originally developed by monks in China as a meditative method of self-defense, you can now join millions of people around the world who enjoy Tai Chi as a graceful, grounded movement practice that brings calm to the body and mind.<\/p>\n<p>The Yang style of Tai Chi Chu\u2019an, recognized as a Chinese cultural treasure to promote health, consists of twenty-four moves performed in a slow manner with a low center of gravity. The many moves that extend across the midline stimulate the brain and nervous system, resulting in a sensation of simultaneous calm and alertness. Students discover many applications to their daily experience and often notice life improvements within a month of starting T\u2019ai Chi Chu\u2019an.
