Discover how mindful eating can provide you with a pathway to overcoming the \u201cdiet mentality\u201d and establish how to sustainably fuel your body to live a healthier life. Bring mindful awareness to how you eat, nourish and care for your body, reconnect to the earth through your food, and learn to connect to the intuitive wisdom of your body.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will start with an introduction to mindfulness and progress to practices and worksheets you can take home to use as simple tools to support you in making the changes you desire. She believes that cultivating loving kindness towards ourselves and the earth is one way to do this. Through guided meditations, yoga classes, and nature based workshops and retreats, she incorporates ways to deepen our connections to and love for the natural world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 500 RYT yoga instructor and certified mindfulness meditation instructor, Lizabeth has been teaching since 2009. She holds a certificate in Mindful Eating for yoga instructors, and is currently completing a Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness instructor training through the Mindfulness Eating Training Institute with Andrea Lieberstein, author of the Amazon bestseller \u201cWell Nourished: Mindfulness Practices to Heal Your Relationship with Food, Feed Your Whole Self, and End Overeating\u201d. Lizabeth also holds a master\u2019s degree in ecopsychology from Naropa University.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lizabeth most recently led an Ecosattva training at Still &amp; Moving Center with Krista Hiser and has worked in the field of conservation in Hawaii since 1994. She credits hatha yoga and mindfulness meditation for helping to still her active mind and recover from health challenges.
