This year, we are extending the celebration all through May. Join our <\/span>h\u0101lau<\/span><\/em> – our school of hula – <\/span>N\u0101 Hula Ola Aloha<\/span><\/em>, and celebrate Lei Day through music and dance. Kumu Malia\u2019s hula dancers will make your heart sing!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Malia\u2019s students range in age from preschoolers in keiki hula, to mixed age <\/span>kahiko<\/span><\/i> students, to the gracious ladies in our Aloha Hula Classes. Dancers on May Day will perform in both the traditional <\/span>kahiko<\/span><\/em> and modern \u2018<\/em><\/span>auana<\/span><\/em> hula styles.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Attendees are encouraged to wear lei to the event. Plenty of fresh flowers grace our celebration as students make their own lei for the occasion.
