As they explore\, they develop coordination and body awareness while learning foundational aerial skills that set the stage for choreography\, routines\, and future performances. \nUsing the aerial hammock\, your keiki climbs\, poses\, and flows through transitions and beginner sequences\, guided step-by-step by experienced instructor Ms. Olivia. As confidence grows\, your child begins linking movements together\, developing both technique and their own creative expression. \nEach day also includes time to slow down and recharge. During one of the most loved moments of camp\, your child rests in a cozy aerial hammock cocoon\, gently swaying\, listening to calming music\, and resetting both body and mind. This balance of movement and rest creates a joyful\, nurturing experience your keiki will look forward to all summer long. \n\n\n\n\nPlease register under the child’s name (not the parent’s) \nKindly let your instructor know of any health concerns prior to the start of aerial classes such as: glaucoma\, heart conditions\, fused spine\, mobility challenges\, vertigo\, etc \nClothing requirements: tight-fitting; no zippers or metal; under-arms covered. Jewelry off. T-shirt on! She developed her theatrical craft at the prestigious conservatory\, Duke Ellington School of the Arts\, which she now incorporates into her aerial dance practice\, crafting performances that are as emotive as they are physically compelling.  \nCertified with 150 hours of aerial teacher training and accredited by AIReal Yoga\, Olivia specializes in aerial dance and aerial yoga. Her favorite dance partner is her silk hammock which she describes as both a source of emotional solace and a tool for physical expression.  \nOlivia’s teaching philosophy centers on the relationship between the dancer and their apparatus\, encouraging students to explore their creativity\, develop musicality and convey powerful stories through choreography.
