Aerial Hammock Dance – 8 week series with Katharine Harts

January 24, 2022, @ 7:15 pm - March 14, 2022, @ 8:15 pm HST

8 Week Series:
January 24 to March 14, 2022
Mondays, 7:15-8:15 pm HST

$199 plus tax

This 8 week series will culminate in a performance for our annual Birthday celebration March 18, 2022

In this class, you will learn dance skills in the Hammock, as well as in floor exercises and stretching. The techniques and strength-building exercises are relevant to all aerial mediums. By the end of class you may do playful improvisation. Enjoy a fabulous, unique workout with restful, rejuvenating closure.

Aerial apparatus cross-training improves core control, grip strength, and upper body strength. The more classes you take, the more these benefits increase!

All levels are welcome (mature teens by permission).

Kindly let your instructor know of any injuries. Contra-indications for aerial classes: glaucoma, heart-conditions, fused spine, pregnancy beyond doctor recommendation.

Clothing requirements: tight-fitting; no zippers or metal; under-arms covered. Jewelry off. T-shirt on! No perfume.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you can safely enjoy the class. Since space is limited and setup time is necessary, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals to Aerial classes. If you sign up and do not show up to this limited space class, you will still be charged for the class.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to continue to offer in-person classes, Still & Moving Center will require all in-person students to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 48-hours of the date of visit to the studio. Please bring your vaccine card (photocopy or photo are also acceptable) or negative test result with you to verify with the front desk prior to your next in-person class. Verification of vaccine status will be noted so that you will only need to show your vaccine card once. We will not store a visual record of your personal information.

The vaccination or testing requirement is only one part of helping keep our community safe and healthy. All other protocols still stand: You will be temperature checked and expected to maintain masks, social distancing and hand sanitizing at all times. Please bring your own yoga mat and props if possible (rentals available). If you have symptoms of COVID 19, please refrain from attending.

Equipment will be handled/sanitized per COVID standards.
