Mindful Movement

HULA & HAWAIIAN

At the heart of Still & Moving Center lies Hawaiian culture: its living aloha, language, and closeness to the land and sea. Learn to dance a story to island music with your hands, face, hips and feet through the grace of modern and ancient hula.

YOGA

Come to the mat as you are, and leave it feeling aligned and centered. In classes of varying intensity and styles, turn within, focus on your breath, and find your way safely into postures. Relaxation and meditation support your yoga.

NIA

Experience the Joy of healing movement to soul-stirring music with a touch of fun. Fusing dance, martial arts and yoga, Nia provides a full cardio workout for body, mind and spirit! You just can’t do it wrong, listening to your body!

MEDITATION & CULTURE

We invite you to be fully present, right here, right now. Enjoy calm and centering through still and moving meditation practices. Share in the world’s rich and wise traditions of thought, dance, music, conversation and chanting.

FITNESS

Enjoy mindful, safe, full-body exercise on the floor or chair to enhance your health, gently reducing pain and stiffness. Try Pilates, Feldenkrais, ELDOA, MELT, PhysioFlow and more. Increase your strength, flexibility and balance.

DANCE

People travel from near and far to experience our global dance school, thrilled by our talented teachers from around the world. Join our classes and workshops for belly dance, Bollywood, Afro, and contemporary!

MARTIAL ARTS

We practice ancient tai chi and qigong traditions to focus our intention and to increase the healthy circulation of qi / chi / life force energy through the body. We enhance our self-confidence, vitality and alertness through skillful body/mind movement.

AERIAL

More than a bucket-list activity, aerial dance and yoga condition your body uniquely, providing spinal extension, upper body and core strengthening, spatial awareness, balance and lymphatic drainage. You also give yourself a big confidence boost!

SENIORS

Our treasured Kupuna (Seniors) at Still & Moving Center model lifelong learning and self-regeneration. Wisely, with awareness, we continue to move our bodies at any age. Our vast array of classes promotes physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.

KIDS
