Healthy Living Classes & Workshops at Still & Moving Center. Join a healthy living class or workshop at Still & Moving Center, an eco-friendly yoga studio that inspires a vibrant lifestyle for all!

We design all our activities at Still & Moving Center to empower you to take your life and health into your own capable hands. We are here as a community of care to accompany, inspire and encourage you. Each class, meditation, workshop, and event at our center in Hawaii aims to provide you with instruction and guidance in healthy living.

All Ages

At Still & Moving Center, we understand that keeping the body in motion is essential to a healthy lifestyle. From infants in Sitting Baby Hula to kupuna (seniors) in their nineties, everyone learns new, fun, engaging ways to move. Research proves again and again that an active body and regular interactions with other people promote a healthy, vibrant mind. 

 Body – Mind – Spirit Health

Our holistic approach embraces your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, for we recognize you as a whole, multi-faceted human being. For your body, we teach you ways to move mindfully. Teachers encourage you to listen to your body’s signals, which will tell you how to take care of it. For your mind, teachers offer ways to meditate, center, and calm the chattering inner dialogue of the “monkey mind.” Teachers also give you many opportunities for fascinating conversations such as Kaiwa Conversation and Satsang that will stretch your mind–in English, Japanese and Hawaiian! For your emotional nature, we provide caring support staff, compassionate teachers, and opportunities for warm friendships – both online and in-person – with fellow students. For your spirit, we offer uplifting newsletters, including “Life at the Center”, the Still & Moving Center Almanac with inspirational themes and daily quotes, as well as Gems from the Wisdom Tradition: a Conversation Circle.

Healthy Life Tips

Healthy Life Tips appear each month in our Life at the Center newsletters, offering creative and sometimes humorous suggestions for your wellness toolkit. Our teachers also give you exercises and instructions in class that you can take home and use in your daily lives. Sometimes even the most minimal change can positively affect the health of our whole self: body, mind, and soul. Still & Moving Center in Hawaii is all about healthy living.
