Foam Roller Classes with Murat Demirtas
Whether you are beginning a new fitness routine, or have been in one for years, there are several ways to enhance your workout experience and provide your body with the best tools to perform optimally, feel healthy, and lose weight. A popular service we offer at Still & Moving Center, as part of our fitness programs, is our in person and virtual foam roller classes. Foam rolling involves the use of a foam roller to relieve muscle tension, increase blood flow, and promote healing of injured or sore muscles.
Foam rolling, also commonly referred to as self-myofascial release, has been used for decades by athletes and trainers to promote healing for injuries and relieve the tension caused by knots in the muscles. By targeting these trigger points, you can increase your range of motion and flexibility, alleviate soreness, and reduce muscle fatigue throughout the body. This practice can also make the muscles more receptive to stretching, allowing you to have a more complete and productive workout. Foam rolling, or myofascial release, with Murat Demirtas at Still & Moving Center, is an excellent complement to all our fitness classes and can help you gain the most benefits from your workout routine.
