Still & Moving Center’s highly certified, experienced and caring ELDOA Method instructors offer classes and workshops for your journey towards a healthier and happier you.

Dr. Guy Voyer, a French Osteopath, created the ELDOA Method with the intention to eradicate back pain. Many people who now practice ELDOA experience reduced pain and a sense of ease in their bodies, especially in their backs, as well as improved posture and balance, and overall well being. Our ELDOA Method classes both online and in Hawaii, promote independence as we learn to relieve, heal, and strengthen our own back!

How does the ELDOA Method work? During these back exercise classes for fitness and health, we go through a series of postural exercises that work to relieve the effects that gravity may have on our spines during our daily lives. Using the principles of tensegrity, our body naturally supports itself with the strings of fascia that hold our structure together. ELDOA postures set up lines of traction in the body to open up spaces in our spinal column as well as our shoulders, hips, and ribs. ELDOA’s gentle exercises also relieve pressure within the body, increase blood circulation, and allow fluids within the body’s tissues to flow more freely, nourishing, and detoxifying our cells throughout our body and brain. Voila! We feel better, and our mental awareness clarifies.
