Aerial dance

Saturdays, 11:50 AM – 12:50 PM

Price: $35

Aerial Hammock Dance is a dynamic, beginner-friendly workout that builds strength, grace, and expressive movement using a soft, supportive hammock suspended at hip height.

You’ll start with grounded exercises to stretch, tone, and prepare your body for flight. Then, rise into the hammock to explore flowing choreography and full-body conditioning—arms, legs, core, and beyond. Each class ends with a restful, rejuvenating closure.

You’ll need to lift and stabilize your own body weight—just a bit. Aerial Yoga is a helpful foundation, but not required.

Training on the hammock supports your journey across other aerial arts like Lyra, building grip strength, core control, and upper-body power. The more you practice, the more you progress—physically and mentally. Aerial arts improve focus, confidence, and body awareness over time.

Mature teens may attend by permission of our Aerial Faculty.

Kindly let your instructor know of any injuries.

Contra-indications for aerial classes: glaucoma, heart conditions, fused spine, and pregnancy beyond doctor recommendation.

Please pre-register for all aerial classes at least an hour in advance. Arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you can safely enjoy your Aerial class. Since space is limited and setup time is necessary, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals to Aerial classes.

Clothing Requirements:

For your safety: Tight-fitting clothing, shirts with sleeves, leggings.

For preserving the apparatus: No zippers or metal. Jewelry off. No perfume.
