Lyra Level II & III – Committed Series

Price: $175

Maximum 6 students. Participants are required to commit to the full series.

This is a mixed level class for more advanced level two and level three students. Join Heather for her last series of lyra classes before she moves to Maui! This series is perfect for newer lyra students who want to learn how to link moves together into a fluid routine. More advanced students will be able to perfect technique on moves they already know and learn a few new things along the way.

Students will perform for at a Still & Moving Center event on Saturday Sept. 12.

Heather Booth

 

Heather Booth first learned the art of trapeze and aerial dance in 1997 in New Orleans, and she’s had a hard time walking on the ground ever since! Heather owns Miraas Aerial, a Denver-based aerial studio, where she spent four years as Creative Director and Lead Instructor, teaching aerial silk/fabric, static trapeze, lyra, and aerial yoga to adults and children. In addition to teaching aerial in the studio,

Heather has spent years traveling and teaching culture and human rights as a university professor. An advocate of ‘social circus’, Heather has worked as an aerial trainer in Israel, Palestine, and Thailand, teaching trust and peace through circus skills. Heather’s aerial trainers have included: Julio Batista de Souza of Cirque du Soleil’s “Ka”, Alexandra Walker of the Slavic Sisters; Carrie Heller of the Circus Arts Institute; Shayna Swanson of Aloft, Lisa Natoli of Lisa’s Bright Ideas, and Josh McGirk of Aeriality, where she received Aerial Yoga teacher training.
