May Day Lei Day Celebration – Hula Halau Performance & Fundraiser

Each year, Kumu Hula Mālia Helela chooses a theme for all hula classes taught at Still & Moving Center. This year, it is gratitude for family. Just as we string flowers one after the other onto a common thread, our hula dancers are flowers that are joined by a collective gratitude for family and tradition.

Our students range in age from preschoolers in keiki hula halau to gracious, silver-haired ladies in our lunchtime Aloha Hula classes. The groups will perform both traditional and modern styles of hula.

The halau will greatly appreciate your generous donation of $10+. This event is a hula fundraiser for travel and costuming expenses.
