Welcome to our monthly Benefit Sound Bath Series! Our mission behind creating this series is to bring more peace to the community and to the world. It is designed to fill you with serenity, and healing that you can spread throughout your community, while at the same time spreading awareness and helping nonprofit organizations continue their amazing work. This month, we are excited to be supporting Shop YWCA, an organization that’s efforts are focused on eliminating racism & empowering women.

About Shop YWCA:

Since 1900, YWCA O‘ahu has been serving women and their families in an effort to fight gender inequality and eliminate racism. By pairing advocacy work with diverse programming, we are uniquely positioned to affect meaningful change in society on both an individual and systemic level. Through striving for our values of courage, compassion, and commitment we hope to provide all women an opportunity to advance and succeed in all areas of life, whether it be in their career or physical health. We believe that by strengthening women we are also strengthening our community.
YWCA O‘ahu Economic Advancement programs provide opportunities for professional growth for women transitioning from challenging life circumstances. YWCA O‘ahu Fernhurst is a community-based work furlough program and transitional housing for women reentering society after incarceration. Dress for Success Honolulu provides resources and support to women looking for employment.

In July 2023, YWCA O‘ahu launched, Shop YWCA an e-commerce community of responsible shoppers who care about empowering women to reach their full potential. Shop YWCA is powered by meaningful donations and amazing entrepreneurs. The website comes to life during monthly pop-up sales at their YWCA O‘ahu Laniākea location in Downtown Honolulu. Their inventory comes from community donations and featured products from local Wahine business owners. Follow @shopywca on Facebook or Instagram to keep up with the latest news and sale dates!

About this event

Rest and restore in an aerial hammock! Let the aerial silk cradle you, and safely support you as you explore restorative yoga postures, both inside the hammock and on the ground. Experience the sensation of floating in Savasana (yogic rest) as the crystal bowls envelop you with an ethereal sound. No experience necessary! The hammocks will be accessible for everyone. Space is limited, as we have a limited number of hammocks available, so be sure to sign up early to reserve your spot!

During the class Bryan will immerse you in a musical sound journey with the crystal singing bowls. Bryan’s unique approach to soundhealing incorporates his training in classical music to create a beautiful, flowing soundscape. Every session becomes a brand new composition, designed to help you reach deeper, and deeper states of relaxation, and meditation. This music will guide you into a state where deep healing, and rest occurs. You will leave the class feeling rejuvenated, restored, and peaceful.
