Come spend an easy, welcoming evening with good music, good food, and good people.
We’ll start the night with live music from Mālia & Friends, sharing an intimate set of original songs and familiar favorites. After that, the mic is open — bring your voice, your words, your instrument, or just your ears. All levels and art forms are welcome.
We’ll also be sharing a community vegetarian potluck, so bring a dish if you can — something homemade, store-bought, or anything in between. No pressure, just bring yourself if that’s what you’ve got.
Free / All are welcome
Still & Moving Center is a vegetarian space. We kindly ask that no meat products be brought into the premises. Thank you for honoring our values.
As a singer-songwriter, musician, and composer, Mālia has been serenading us at Still & Moving Center since we opened. She also serves as a kumu hula and lomilomi practitioner at Still & Moving Center. She teaches hula, oli (Hawaiian chanting), lomilomi, ʻōlelo (Hawaiian language), and ʻukulele to a wide range of haumāna (students), from babies to kūpuna (elders), always interweaving music into her teaching.
