Mindful Eating Workshop. In-person with Lizabeth Kashinsky

September 30, 2023, @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm HST

Saturday, September 30, 2023
12:30-2:30 pm HST

Do you suffer from failed diets, unmanageable food cravings, emotional eating, guilt and other weight and diet issues?

Join Lizabeth in this introduction to cultivating a healthier and more sustainable relationship with food. Discover how mindful eating can provide you with a pathway to overcoming the “diet mentality” and establish how to sustainably fuel your body to live a healthier life. Bring mindful awareness to how you eat, nourish and care for your body, reconnect to the earth through your food, and learn to connect to the intuitive wisdom of your body.

We will start with an introduction to mindfulness and progress to practices and worksheets you can take home to use as simple tools to support you in making the changes you desire. The workshop will include a mindful yoga practice, so please dress for gentle movement and stretching and bring a journal and something to write with. Please, eat a light meal before class (light since we will be doing a bit of yoga) so that you may explore eating mindfully on your own and see what you notice.
