Join us for our end-of-summer celebration at Still & Moving Center!
We begin to celebrate by announcing the winners of the Challenge! Who will win the Pot of Gold at the end of the Rainbow? Our ‘Over the Rainbow’ Summer Challenge chart has grown more and more colorful with all the classes our challengers are taking in different disciplines – such as purple for Hawaiian, green for yoga, or red for martial arts.
Let’s cheer for our Challenge effort to fundraise for Hui Mahi’ai ‘Aina – a local tiny house village helping folks who are transitioning out of the houselessness. Meet special guest Auntie Blanche McMillan, founder of Hui Mahi’ai ‘Aina, who houses close to 100 residents in her extended backyard! Let’s find out at the celebration: What is our collective $contribution$ to this special place of TLC in Waimanalo?
For the Love of Dance Party
Participate in our quarterly ‘For the Love of Dance’ party at the same event. Enjoy a recital piece from our keiki aerialists. Have the thrill of watching our Artist-in-Residence Tango instructor from Argentina Josefina Stellato and her partner Guillermo Barrionuevo, and then take a little lesson from them on the spot!
International Latin Dance Instructor Shaoshu Jiang & his partner Monique Leung return for another impressive performance with mini-lesson for us.
Join us for Nia with Renée, Hula with Kumu Mālia, Beliraq with Andrea DeGruchy, and Barre with Jody Morse! And who knows? We often get last-minute surprises!
