This fun-filled class for beginners will introduce you to three dynamic fitness skills: Aerial silks, slack lining and partner acro. Aerial silks explores the vertical world of movement. Slack lining develops your balance and concentration in a playful way. Partner acro is dynamic partner play in which one person acts as the base while the other person “flies.” You’ll have a chance to try each of these events and linger in the one that most attracts you. Join Angela and her partner David for a fun-filled afternoon, which will include demonstrations of each skill by the two of them! For the aerial silks, wear form fitting clothing that covers under arms, waist, and behind the knee.
Angela Warren
A health and fitness enthusiast, Angela Warren began her career as a personal trainer finding joy in helping others reach their health and fitness goals. When she discovered aerial dance through her sweetheart, she found playing on the silks to be a great way to get the body in amazing shape while engaging the mind and delighting the spirit and so incorporated this beautiful moving art into her personal training. She and her fiance often perform Aerial Silks and Acro at birthdays, graduations, weddings and other family events. They also perform with The Flying Maltese Family and The Waikiki Acrobatic Troupe.
