Let’s lightly ease ourselves into the new week with a gentle Monday morning wake up. This slow-paced practice gives ample time to explore our bodies as we settle into well-balanced, body-safe postures. We breathe. There is no rush. Our intention is to create a moving meditation that calms, grounds and centers our mind while aligning our physical body. We end our Yin Flow practice with a guided meditation of Yoga Nidra, encouraging deep rest and healing. Ten minutes of Yoga Nidra is said to be comparable to 1-2 hours of deep sleep. We come out of class delightfully refreshed for the week ahead!

Tara Lavery

From her own experience, Tara Lavery has found that through yoga, bodywork, eating choices, meditation, and other natural forms of healing, we can all learn to be free of pain, dis-ease, & suffering. She shares these discoveries with her students and clients. People who spend time with Tara find her to be a gentle soul with an impish smile and great sense of fun!

Now a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainer, Tara began practicing yoga in 1999 while in massage therapy school. She found yoga to be a way to give back to her body after working on clients all day. Yoga started by healing her physical nature, then led to a much deeper emotional and spiritual well-being. Her aerial practice gives scope for her natural athleticism and artistic expression.

An early, beloved yoga and aerial dance teacher at Still & Moving Center years ago, Tara returns as an even more accomplished teacher, trainer and practitioner with the wisdom of deeper experience. She also brings back her loving touch through her bodywork.

Tara feels blessed to have practiced and studied with most amazing teachers. She feels honored and grateful to share with us what she has learned.
