Massage is a great way of alleviating everyday tension. Not sure how? Discouraged because your fingers get sore after just a few minutes of working on a loved one’s tight shoulders? Discover simple and effective ways of working on family and friends.
Part 1 – Your Massage Toolkit
Hands and fingers are commonly used massage tools, yet the forearms and elbows are incredibly helpful when used correctly. We will look at how to perform basic massage techniques with and without oils and lotions.
Part 2 – Managing Your Space
Discover ways of working comfortably within your own space. Not everyone has a massage table tucked away in a closet! We will take a look at working on the floor and seated in a chair.
Please bring 2 pillows, a pareau and a comforter from home. Wear clothes that are comfortable to move in. There will be an option (not required) to use massage creme on the neck, arms and feet.
