Still & Moving Center presents….
Lifetime of Vitality Award: Al Harrington
A Participatory Celebration, Sharing the Joy of Movement
Join us in joyful movement as we honor our local friend and legendary entertainer Al Harrington for our first ever Lifetime of Vitality award! Al is known worldwide for his roles in both the original and the reboot of Hawaii Five-O. “Al Harrington” became a household name in Hawaii during his many years as an entertainer in Waikiki, where he earned his well-known moniker “The South Pacific Man.” In fact, Al will also be receiving this year a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts!
What none of us knew was that Al was challenged with a major setback in his health recently. Hear his courageous story of regaining health. Behind the scenes, Al has always played a major role in our community and he continues to show us the way to a life of vitality – at every age.
It’s never too late to feel better, and you are never too old to find joy in movement.
We’ll celebrate with Al by participating in several gentle moving arts for health. Our esteemed faculty has designed a sampling of state-of-the art mindful movement experiences that are safe and fun for all ages and abilities. Activities may be done seated as well as standing. No experience necessary to enjoy:
Our event concludes with a colorful rainbow of healthy, ono, catered refreshments!
