At age 42, Amber was passing through a dark night of the soul – a time when the soul feels such an arid dryness and aloneness that she feels as though no one can ever comfort her. Amber had just reached the age that her mother was at when she died, and now Amber had just lost her beloved grandmother, too.
Yet, in the absence of these powerful, important women in her life, Amber found sisterhood. She soon met three remarkable friends who became so connected in a deep, heartfelt way, it was as if they were bee sisters, sharing the same hive.
