Did you know that your pelvic floor is part of your core postural muscles? This group of muscles is as important to your body standing upright  as the foundation is to a skyscraper standing tall! Your pelvic floor is also vital for organ function, for breathing and much, much more.

In this workshop we become better acquainted with pelvic floor anatomy and its many functions. We build a better awareness of how our entire body frees up when we can move from this pelvic center.

Many of us have concerns around incontinence, organ prolapse, or simply have a feeling that our posture and core strength are collapsing. If the core muscles of our body become numb or dysfunctional for some reason, many of the surface muscles will try to take over this important job of foundational support. As research and personal results show, ‘Kegel’ exercises alone are not bringing the desired results.

This workshop goes far beyond ‘Kegels’ to functional, stabilizing movements that will address some of these problems at a causal level.

Marla Waal will share with you a series of awareness, strengthening and balance exercises that you will be able to continue practicing on your own. Through regular, gentle practice you will see how pelvic floor health contributes to overall joy and health!
