Kids Aerial 2-Day Workshop – In Person with Katharine Harts
July 10, 2021, @ 1:00 pm - July 17, 2021, @ 2:30 pm HST
Kids Aerial 2-day Workshop (7 to 13 year olds)
With Katharine Harts
Saturdays, July 10 & 17
$70 for 2 workshops
PLEASE, REGISTER IN THE CHILD’s name, not the parent’s. Mahalo!
Invite your keiki to explore vertical space on two different pieces of aerial apparatus: aerial hammock and lyra, the hanging hoop. These two workshops, back to back, allow for a more focused approach to learning and practicing skills.
Kids, come increase your proprioception! “My what?!?” Your proprioception tells you where your body is in space, whether upright or upside down! You get to climb, twist, turn, invert and hang – safely without your parents nagging you to “get down off there!” Increase your confidence as you develop coordination, concentration, balance and strength. “Hanging” with Katharine is always a fun-packed learning experience, a chance to bring a friend along, an opportunity to meet new friends!
Kindly let your instructor know of any injuries. Contra-indications for aerial classes: glaucoma, heart-conditions, fused spine, pregnancy beyond doctor recommendation.
Clothing requirements: tight-fitting; no zippers or metal; under-arms covered. Jewelry off. T-shirt on! No perfume.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you can safely enjoy the class. Since space is limited and setup time is necessary, we are not able to accommodate late arrivals to Aerial classes. If you sign up and do not show up to this limited space class, you will still be charged for the class.
COVID protocols will apply: temp checks, hand sanitizing, distancing and masks at all times. Please, refrain from attending classes if you are feeling ill.
Equipment will be handled/sanitized per COVID standards.
Please, bring your own water.
