Katharine Harts July 28, 2023

You are invited to explore your mind-body connection through breath support and developmental patterning!

Using the the principals of the Irmgard Bartenieff fundamentals, these somatic practices involve rediscovering the body’s movement patterns while also finding connections through the body. In this class you will experience the six basic patterns: thigh lift, forward and lateral pelvic shift, diagonal knee reach, body half, and arm circles, and you will be introduced to the six patterns of total body connectivity.

Emerge from this class feeling relaxed and revitalized! Although many of these explorations are experienced on a mat, a prerequisite is that students are able to get down and off the floor unassisted.

No prior experience necessary. Please dress comfortably
